Engagement Session – Maryanne & Jack

I had the chance to shoot Maryanne & Jack’s engagement portraits a few weeks ago; they were so much fun and such an awesome couple. I may have enjoyed the shoot more than them, if that is even possible.

I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this coming weekend. Am sure it will be filled with lots of laughter and amazing moments.

 

Wedding – Nancy & Alvin

You may remember this couple from their engagement pictures which we posted a while back. Their wedding was in August and it was epic. It is always interesting to observe other traditions during weddings and this one was quite something…. the singing and dancing was on another level.

Onto the pictures:

Alvin gave Nancy pearl earrings as a wedding present and wrote her the sweetest message.

Belated Macro Monday

As I try to keep the macro photography flame burning, I have to remind myself that even if I don’t have the right equipment for great macro shots all it takes is to slow down and smell the roses (in this case flowers and worker bees collecting pollen).

It’s the simple things that make life great.

Attended my good friends wedding in Tiwi last month and it was brilliant. The views were awesome, the food was awesome and the people were the best part of the entire weekend.

I did their engagement portraits, which are featured here in the portraits category, but this time I was a guest and Hannibal Simba was the official photographer for the day. I couldn’t resist capturing a few moments though. It was just too beautiful.
